Expanding Learning Possibilities (ELP) is a collaborative initiative and partnership of the Alabama Department of Human Resources (ALDHR) and The Children’s Trust Fund (CTF).

ALDHR and CTF have partnered with the Alabama Virtual Institute (AVI) 

and the Talladega County School System (Team TALL),

to provide a hybrid model of direct virtual STEM instructional lessons and experiential activities in Afterschool/Summer school that are facilitated in tandem with the individual Programmatic Sites in various portions of the state. 

Since its inception in the wake of the Pandemic, ELP has grown to serve thousands of students in the Out-of-School space across multiple counties in numerous communities with exponential opportunities to enhance student engagement and learning.

Additionally, both AVI and Team TALL have expanded to encompass Instructors and 

Content Specialists from a variety of school systems and arenas.
